LibreOffice 3.3.1 brings new colored icons

The Internet, February 23, 2011 – The Document Foundation announces LibreOffice 3.3.1, the first micro release of the free office suite for personal productivity, to improve the stability of the software and eliminate crashes affecting the Windows version. LibreOffice 3.3.1 also brings new colorful icons based on The Document Foundation branding guidelines, and includes updates to several language versions. LibreOffice 3.3.1 Release Candidate available

The Document Foundation is happy to announce the release candidate of LibreOffice 3.3.1. This release candidate is the first in a series of frequent bugfix releases on top of our LibreOffice 3.3 product. Please be aware that LibreOffice 3.3.1 RC1 is not yet ready for production use, you should continue to use LibreOffice for that.

German LibreOffice-Box available

The German LibreOffice Community today announced the availability of its LibreOffice-Box, a compilation of LibreOffice with extensions, cliparts, galleries, fonts and additional programs on DVD. For the download and more informaton refer to http://www.libreofficebox.org. International versions of the image are planned.

The first stable release of the free office suite is available for download

The Internet, January 25, 2011 – The Document Foundation launches LibreOffice 3.3, the first stable release of the free office suite developed by the community. In less than four months, the number of developers hacking LibreOffice has grown from less than twenty in late September 2010, to well over one hundred today. This has allowed us to release ahead of the aggressive schedule set by the project. (more…)
