Lanedo supports LibreOffice

In our recent announcement of the Engineering Steering Committee, we wrote that Michael Natterer from Lanedo is having a seat in this body, contributing further to the development of LibreOffice. Here’s their statement of support: “Lanedo is proud to support LibreOffice, and participate in development and inside the Engineering Steering Committee (ESC)” said Martyn Russell, Managing Director, “our contribution underlines the quality and effectiveness of our software development and support services around LibreOffice.”

    OK but what about with human resource from IBM and ReFlag 2000? Did they still work at OpenOffice.org?

    Michael Meeks wrote someday that those company are the biggest contributor except Sun.

    Neither IBM nor RedFlag 2000 appear to have made any substantial contribution to OpenOffice since he wrote that in 2007, so it seems they don’t work either at OpenOffice.org or at LibreOffice.

    Are you sure? Meeks published another graph a year letter and it still included IBM and RedFlag2000 (and another subject like SLUG, SIL, Serenity Systems, Propylon, Pentaho, Intel, InDesko/Nuxeo, Gravity Waves, Fabalabs, CLUG, CCOSS, Bureau Cornavin which are not involved in LibO)

    I would dispute the significance of RedFlag and/or IBM in OO.o in recent times. Unfortunately, the revision control systems have changed twice since I generated those graphs to svn, then mercurial loosing history each time: so, sadly it is not easy to just re-generate them.
