LibreOffice 3.3 Release Candidate 4 available
The Document Foundation is happy to announce the fourth release candidate of LibreOffice 3.3. This release candidate is not intended for production use! The final release of LibreOffice 3.3, for production use, will be available soon. For more details, see the announcement.
As in OpenOffice, when a date is copied and pasted from one spreadsheet to another a day is lost!
LibreOffice is doing the same!!
I noticed that libreoffice doesn’t show up on the Linux Mint 10 Software Manager list. I am new to linux so I am not sure if the Software Manager is a part of all distributions, but if it is it would seem important for libreoffice to be on it. I am primarily a Mac OS X user so I use MacUpdate and Mac Software Update most frequently. Adopting a UI similar to MacUpdate’s would be a little more organized than that I see on Software Manager. Anyway, it would seem wise to have libreoffice have a presence on both MacUpdate and the Linux Mint Software Manager. Although I have not tried libreoffice yet I intend to give it a try once it is beyond release candidate. I applaud and support the concepts of “free” software and all your efforts. THANK YOU one and all from one who loves freedom too.
