What about the OTHER LibreOffice portable versions which can be easily found in the Internet with any simple search?
Are they to be considered illegal or what?
Hi.
Thank you for Libre Office, it is great, and faster than OO.
I just wanted to say that the Russian language pack for 3.3.2 (Windows) doesn’t seem to work, it does not install any *.res files in programresource.
I noticed a huge differencew in Size between downloading the portable version & the installable one. The installable seems to be more than twice the size to download.
Could someone tell us why & if it matters.
Thanks
Sorry about my remark, I had forgotten that the GUI language packs are included in the installer itself.
Great news.. My waiting is over.. 😀
Half of my everyday-used software is portable version.. Save my time on reinstallation when something gone wrong with my system…
@Hutchinson – I think it is because the installer include also Java JRE, but the portable version did not include Java.. You can read about Java portable implementation at portableapps.com.
I keep getting “server not found” errors for the location this adress bounces me to. Have tried over the course of two days. Please check your mirrors and let users select another mirror manually.

Thanks so much for your amazing work. I liked OOo, but it felt somewhat stagnant. It seems like LibreOffice has really taken off in a lot of interesting ways, between much improved performance, and better support for certain document formats, I’ve been really pleased. I’d love to see a bit more in terms of ppt/pptx compatibility because it makes it somewhat hard to collaborate with others, but in all other aspects I’m happy. Keep up the good work!
